New Citroen MPV 'will challenge preconceptions'

Citroen has announced its new baby-MPV will be making its debut at the Paris Motor Show at the beginning of October.

The C3 Picasso is the third vehicle in that particular range.

According to the manufacturer the cars "magic box charm lies in the way it is both compact and spacious".

It claims the model encompasses many other opposing qualities as well, including strength and comfort, performance and economy, style and practicality – and quality and affordability.

Citroen states it has taken a new direction in body design for the C3 Picasso by combining the spacious, versatile shapes of an MPV with the comfort, quality and agility of an SUV.

The carmaker explains it was keen to challenge preconceived notions with regard to the compact MPV segment.

Earlier this week, Citroen signed a deal which saw them take on the role of official vehicle supplier for the London Wasps Rugby Football Club.
