Citroen extends its finance offers

Citroen has announced it is extending the finance offers available across its range this month.

People buying the Berlingo Multispace, C4, C4 Picasso, C-Crosser and C8 will receive a VAT-free deal, while motorists opting for the X3, C3 Pluriel, C4, C5, C8 and Xsara Picasso will be offered zero per cent finance.

Commenting on the no-VAT deal, the manufacturer pointed out it could lead to savings of up to £3,600.

Xavier Duchemin, managing director with Citroen, said the company's commitment to providing customers with affordable financial packages was one of the main reasons it had been able to increase its market share in recent times.

He stated: "In the tough financial climate, value for money is of paramount importance."

In other Citroen news, the company's C3 Picasso recently drove away with the title of Family Car of the Year at the 2008 Top Gear Awards.

The model received the title before going on sale in the UK.
