Citroen C3 driven by dolphins
Citroen has unveiled details of its latest promotional campaign for the C3 range. From today, the supermini will be advertised on TV screens across the nation with a series of 30-second commercials built around computer-generated imagery.
The adverts, which were filmed on location in the Atlantic and Indian oceans, show dolphins driving the C3 underwater, with the supermini splashing and jumping over the waves.
Justin Hooper, creative director of Euro RSCG, Citroen's advertising agency, explained why the marine mammal was a natural fit with the C3.
"With its curvy design, the Citroen C3 has a friendly happy personality and we have tried to express this idea of fun by using dolphins, known for their playfulness," he said.
Earlier this month, Auto Express claimed that Citroen was currently working on plans to revive the legendary 2CV brand.
The revamped vehicle, which has featured in films such as Apocalypse Now and For Your Eyes Only, is expected to appear as a concept vehicle in 2009.
