Charleston 'could see motorists dancing for joy'
Citroen has announced it is releasing a limited edition convertible supermini. The special edition C3 Pluriel the Charleston will make its debut at next month's Paris Motor Show.
According to the manufacturer, the new model pays homage to the 2CV which celebrates its 60th birthday this year.
Citroen has said the car offers a blend of nostalgic and contemporary styling which should appeal to both 2CV fans and motorists looking for a vehicle "with individual design flair".
The model will feature 15 inch aluminium wheels with red embellisher centres as standard.
It will also include leather upholstery, chrome trim and gloss-black fittings.
Citroen has opted for a two-tone colour scheme of Bordeaux red and black.
The manufacturer said further details, including the price, will be released closer to the UK launch date.
Earlier this month, Citroen announced visitors to the Paris Motor Show would be the first to see its new concept coupe the Hypnos.
