French car manufacturer Citroen has unveiled its innovative new environmentally friendly C2 Stop & Start model in the UK.
Designed as one of the world's most economical cars, the innovative technology in the C2 Stop & Start means the engine is switched off automatically when the car is in standstill, allowing CO2 emissions to be cut dramatically.
The frugal C2 offers a 15 per cent reduction in fuel consumption in heavy traffic, making it the ideal motor for life in a busy town or city.
In its latest addition to the C2 range, Citroen has produced not only an economically-sound car, but one which is practical and boasts some sharp styling.
Managing director of Citroen UK, Xavier Duchemin, said: "Citroen's launch of the C2 Stop & Start reinforces our position at the forefront of technological innovation and protection of the environment."
And the carmaker is also offering to pay the congestion charge in London for purchasers of the new C2.
"With a congestion charge busting offer, C2 Stop & Start owners can help save both their own money and the environment," Mr Duchemin added.
