The Citroen C1 has been upgraded to feature a host of new stylings, its creator has announced.
Citroen explains the new vehicle's front end has been altered as part of a "smart upgrade" of the motor's exterior - along with new wheels and trims.
Meanwhile, inside the C1, there is new upholstery and materials.
Citroen states the upgrades to the vehicle - which follow revisions or complete renewals of the C2, C4, C5 and Berlingo Multispace - give it "even better" fuel economy.
"The nippy 1.0i 68hp petrol engine is now the lowest CO2 emitting petrol powered car currently on sale in the UK, boasting lowered CO2 emissions of just 106g/km, and a combined-cycle fuel consumption figure of 62.8mpg," it adds.
More details on the car are due to be announced closer to its release date of "early 2009".
Earlier this month, Citroen said it has launched a new scheme to see how feasible it is the create car - based on the C Cactus concept vehicle - which has very high green credentials.
