Citroen has announced it is to extend it's C1 city car range with three new models, all of which will be unveiled at this month's British International Motor Show. Two of the new models are three and five door version of the new C1 Airplay, based on the current Vibe model. However, unlike the Vibe model the C1 Airplay comes with front electric windows and remote central locking. It also has several available side decals costing just £70 each. The C1 Airplay also comes with a 1GB black iPod nano and an integrated docking station allowing music to be played through the speakers and head unit as standard. Available in either black or red, interior trims come in either chrome or high gloss red. The third model meanwhile is a new three-door version of the Rhythm, complete with remote central locking, Cornering Stability Control, four airbags, ABS and EBD as standard. Citroen added that all new models are fitted with the standard one-litre petrol engine used in other C1s, and all come with a Group 1 insurance rating and the Euro NCAP four-star rating for adult occupant protection. The group said that for the three and five-door versions of the C1 Airplay recommended prices are £7,295 and £7,645, while the three-door Rhythm is priced at £7,375. However, with the cashbacks the French manufacturer is offering prices of £6,495, £7,145 and £6,875 respectively on the three models.
