New C1 'could help drivers save cash'
Motorists looking for a vehicle which can help them cut their running costs may want to check out a new model from Citroen.The manufacturer pointed out the special edition C1 Splash falls into the cheapest car insurance category and qualifies for low road tax, as it boasts CO2 emissions of 106 g/km.
It added the vehicle could also help owners cut the amount of cash they spend at the pump, as it is capable of 62.8 mpg.
Citroen said the C1 Spash was "the ideal city car to cruise through the credit crunch".
Available in three and five-door versions, buyers have the choice of two colours - Lipizian White and Electra Blue.
In terms of specification, the model features electric front windows, remote central locking and air conditioning.
Prices for the C1 Splash start at £7,345.
Meanwhile, Citroen recently announced the arrival of its Airdream+ special edition C3 and C4.
