Citroen C1 Airplay+ 'offers the latest iPod technology'
Citroen has unveiled details of a new special-edition supermini that may appeal to motorists who want to listen to their favourite songs while on the go.Available from this month, the 1.0-litre Citroen C1 Airplay+ replaces the original C1 Airplay that first appeared last year and aims to give owners access to the latest MP3 player technology.
More specifically, the model incorporates a top-end iPod nano with a four-gigabyte storage capacity.
This means that it can store up to 1,000 tracks, which should be more than enough for even the longest of journeys across the UK.
Moreover, the special-edition comes equipped with an integrated docking station, enabling the motorist to listen to their MP3s across the car's speaker system.
Prospective buyers may also be interested to know that the supermini comes with front electric windows, a leather gear stick and remote control central locking as standard.
Meanwhile, the sporty characteristics of the Citroen brand were underlined last month when the automaker scooped the top two positions in the Monte Carlo leg of the World Rally Championship.
