Citroen has introduced the Airdream signature for the cleanest vehicles in its range, to demonstrate the company's commitment to the environment and to show-case its technological expertise in this area.
Citroen's efforts to contribute actively to air quality and a clean environment by cutting the pollutant emissions from its vehicles are extensive, and the Airdream signature reflects this commitment.
Vehicles need to meet demanding criteria to qualify for the Airdream signature:
1. Low CO2 emissions
130g or less for vehicles running on fossil fuels, or equivalents for other fuels
2. Be manufactured in a plant that is ISO 14001 certified
3. Be designed to be 95% recoverable by weight at end-of-life
Citroen intends to expand the scope of this signature in the future to bring further greater in vehicle emissions.
