Motorists to be given safety checks at certain Chevrolet car dealerships

Chevrolet car owners can get their vehicles checked while they wait at a number of participating dealerships across the UK.

Owners of brands including the Chevrolet Kalos and Lacetti can take advantage of the 10 Minute Car Care Clinic scheme, which is offering drivers a series of checks for a fixed price of £8.

Designed to test the functions of a Chevrolet car including the brakes, windscreen wipers and engines so they are prepared for winter, the programme was launched in the new year at Chevrolet car dealerships around the country.

Any of the 200,000-plus drivers who own a Chevrolet or Chevrolet car are welcome to visit their local service technicians, with the company promising that any upgraded parts required will be Chevrolet approved.

In addition, the car manufacturer is also introducing a new set of Approved Bodyshop Standards in order to reflect changes in design and construction.

Earlier this month, General Motors Europe announced it had increased car sales by 0.9 per cent last year, thanks largely to a significant rise in the numbers of Chevrolet Kalos models being sold, reported Reuters.
