The latest Nissan Qashqai crossover has picked up yet another award during its first year on sale.

The car’s latest honour is provided by the online tech review site,, which has named the Nissan Qashqai the Best Family Car 2014 at its annual award ceremony.

The judging panel for the awards reserved particular praise for the Qashqai’s exterior design, as well as its family-focused cabin and high-tech features it offers.

These qualities have helped put the latest Qashqai among the top ten most registered new cars in the UK market this year-to-date.

The Editor in Chief of, Rory Reid, said: “The original Nissan Qashqai almost single-handedly defined the crossover market, and although wannabes have tried to cash in on its success, it continues to rule head and shoulders above its rivals.”

The Qashqai Product Manager for Nissan GB, Rachael Gregory, commented: “We’re delighted to accept this award for the Qashqai.

“The Qashqai’s exceptionally high equipment levels and advanced technologies have been a key factor in its popularity with buyers and awards like this reward the hard work that our design and engineering teams put into the car.”
