Peugeot 107 Re-call News
There has been a lot of coverage in the news recently about a potential accelerator pedal issue on Toyota models, and the consequent Recall Campaign in Europe.
Perrys has heard from Peugeot's Director of Quality and Customer Relations, Andrew Bye, that the company has decided, in line with its stringent quality policy, to launch a similar Recall programme for a selected range of Peugeot 107s which are produced, in cooperation, with Toyota in a shared plant.
This Peugeot model Recall only involves
107s fitted with the 2-tronic, semi automatic gearbox or manual versions fitted with ESP (vehicle stability control) as an option.
Full details of the Recall Campaign will shortly be issued to Dealers, and Perrys will update this blog with more information as it becomes available.
Owners of affected vehicles should look out for notification by mail from Peugeot, which will ask them to contact their local Peugeot dealer, and to make an appointment to take their car in for inspection, and if necessary, rectification.
