Alfa Romeo MiTo 'aimed at younger market'
The latest vehicle from Alfa Romeo is aimed at the younger customers in the car insurance industry, it has been claimed.According to Reuters, the company hopes that the new three-door compact B segment MiTo captures the imagination on young drivers.
Indeed, a B segment vehicle could prove successful due to environmental concerns, while rising fuel prices could also help it.
A car insurance policy on the vehicle may prove cheaper, too, if cover firms offer a discount for those driving eco-friendly models.
The news source added that an anonymous London analyst said that the vehicle is "a small car you can buy without shame".
Alfa Romeo is famous for a range of models including the Spider, Brera and GT.
The company was formed in 1910 and is a private firm, although it has been parented by fellow Italian brand Fiat since 1986.
