Motorists demonstrate their desire for Alfa Romeo cars
Alfa Romeo cars proved a hit at a recent auction, it has been claimed.Organisers of the BCA Measham closed sale reported the event attracted some brisk bidding.
They stated the Italian marque's 147 and 159 models roused significant interest, as did the group's Brera auto.
Most vehicles on offer went for more than expected, the people behind the event added.
As well as Alfa Romeo cars, there were also Fiat vehicles on offer.
More than 50 bidders attended in person and 35 more got involved online.
Fiat and Alfa Romeo remarketing manager Simon Wheeler said: "We were delighted with the performance of our products at the sale - making this the fourth month running we have achieved exceptional results in a major closed auction environment."
Meanwhile, motorists who missed the event may find they can get a good deal on a used model at their local Fiat and Alfa Romeo dealership.
