Alfa Romeo 166

Despite its obvious beauty the 166 has never managed to find a firm foothold in the UK market. Alfa is persistent and from early 2004 the big saloon is facelifted in a bid to attract buyers. They've done an impressive job too, the 166's nose suiting Alfa's current deep plunging grille. Whether the styling changes will be enough to tempt more buyers remains to be seen, but if you're wanting something a bit different to the default choice German, British or copycat Japanese luxury saloons you could do a great deal worse.
